Amusement Technical delivers hattrick of juvenile control systems for Waterside Holiday Group

Amusement Technical has delivered a further three control systems for juvenile theme park rides. This interesting collection consisting of Dumbo, Formula and Dodgem rides have been designed and manufactured for Waterside Holiday Group in Weymouth supporting its significant investment in the holiday parks.

All three ride controls are based upon our proven and pre-tested small ride control platform which is, of course, fully EN13814 compliant.

The real beauty of these controls are they are freestanding and totally self-contained.

“We are really proud to be part of the recent upgrade works at the amusement park at Bowleaze Cove, the guys there have done a great job, wishing them a fantastic season,” comments Sean Brian, Managing Director, Amusement Technical.

“We have done a fair few of these stand-alone controls now in various formats. They are a really nice solution as they are of course fully compliant with EN13814, EN13849 and because everything is integrated into the one IP66 console they are a nice easy install, and really tidy too..”

Anything single axis up to about 22kw or 2 small axis (say 3kw) and a hydraulic lift, and it all fits in a 600mm wide unit, or in the case of this formula with a ramped start DC output.

This makes them a great plug and play solution for a whole range of ageing juvenile and small family rides where the cost of a full bespoke system is prohibitive..
